Land & Water
Explore wild waterways while caving or gorge walking, paddle on a serene lake or fly fish on the River Wharfe.
We arrange horse riding, falconry, hiking and clay shooting, as well as climbing and abseiling on the limestone crags, and expeditions to nearby zip lines and high rope courses.
Cyclists can follow the Grand Depart from the 2014 Tour de France, which passes by The Hall, and miles of spectacular road and mountain biking routes through Bolton Abbey and the national park.
World Class Golf
We have two championship golf courses nearby, Moortown and Sandmoor. Both were designed by Alister Mackenzie and have hosted the Ryder Cup and Nick Faldo in recent years.
Dark Sky Reserve
The Yorkshire Dales National Park has International Dark Sky Reserve Status, making it one of the best places in the world to view the night sky. We can organise stargazing sessions with a local astronomer.
